Specialized Bikes

Specialized Bicycle Components was born in 1974.  Founder and president Mike Sinyard wanted to make high-end bicycle components available to people in the States.  He realized it was the right thing to do when he had taken a long trip through Europe.  He was impressed with the passion people there had for making the absolute best bikes and equipment.  His founding priciple - to focus on the riders need for functional, technically advanced products that provide a true performance benefit - is what makes Specialized.  Specilized passion is to make your ride, our ride, any rider's time on a bike better.  For 2008, they have done that with a multitude of incredible new range of products.

Specialized believes you have to 'Innovate or Die' and they live this.  Every year they strive to introduce the newest, freshest and best bikes and equipment in the business.  An example of this idea is the Stumpjumper.  The Stumjumper is an icon of the mountain bike industry that has evolved from a simple do all bike to one of the most technologically advanced bikes in the industry.  Also, new to the line for 2008 is the totally redesigned Transition.  This bike is already recieving major praise from those in the industry.
